Mr. Christopher Chung Shu-kun, Vice-Chairman of the Libraries Select Committee, moved the following motion:—
RESOLVED that the Designation of Libraries (Urban Council Area) (No. 2) Order 1995 be made under section 105K of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'
He said (in Cantonese):— Mr. Chairman, as Vice-Chairman of the Libraries Select Committee, I rise to move the motion standing in my name:
RESOLVED that the Designation of Libraries (Urban Council Area) (No. 2) Order 1995 be made under section 105K of the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'
The purpose of the Order is to vest the management and control of the Tsim Sha Tsui Public Library in the Urban Council and to enable the Urban Council to exercise its statutory functions in respect of this library under the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Cap. 132).
Mr. Chairman, I so move.
Mr. Joseph Chan Yuek-sut (in Cantonese): Mr. Chairman, I second the motion.

Ms. Jennifer Chow Kit-Bing moved the following motion:-
'RESOLVED that owing to the nature and scope of their duties and responsibilities, staff of the Urban Services Department may have opportunities to be involved in matters relating to the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance, the Department is urged to formulate a ‘Code of Ethics' to provide its staff with guidance on prevention of corruption.'
