'RESOLVED that the Pleasure Grounds (Amendment) By-laws 1980, be made under Section 109 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'

The purpose of the amendment By-laws is to make provision for the fees payable for the hiring of Mark III (or equivalent) indoor games halls which are of different design from the Marks I and II indoor games halls, and to maximize the utilization of Mark III (or equivalent) indoor games halls.

3. MR. SHUM CHOI-SANG, CHAIRMAN OF THE MARKETS AND STREET TRADERS SELECT COMMITTEE, moved the following motion:

'RESOLVED that-

(a) a Declaration be made under section 79(1) of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, Cap. 132 to amend further the Declaration of Markets in Urban Areas first published in the Gazette as Government Notice Number 1620 of 1960; and

(b) the Public Health and Urban Services (Public Markets) (Designation and Amendment of Tenth Schedule) (No. 5) Order 1980 be made under section 79 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'

He said (in English):-Mr. Chairman, I rise to move the motion standing in my name.

The purpose of this Declaration is to amend the declaration of markets in the urban areas to include the newly built Sze Shan Street Cooked Food Market and Tong Mei Road Temporary Market.

The purpose of the Order is to designate the Sze Shan Street Cooked Food Market and the Tong Mei Road Temporary Market as public markets and to include them in the Tenth Schedule to the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance.
