care to let me have those figures which he has quoted, I should be most happy to hand these figures to the Traffic Department for re-checking.
MR. HU:-No-because that is beyond the 30th September. The figure supplied to you is up to the 30th September. There have been at least three accidents since the 30th September and it occurred to me that Mr. Li does not know of these accidents.
Now Mr. Li, in your answer to my question, you say that the Police are only keeping a watch. What is your view about my suggestions contained in my question. I suggest that vehicles should not be parked on the side of the road so that the view of the pedestrians would not be obscured. I also say that, as a temporary measure, a pedestrian crossing must be marked without any delay.
MR. LI: The three points raised by Mr. Hu in his question will not be lost sight of when the question is under study.
CHAIRMAN:-Ladies and Gentlemen, with the concurrence of members, I suggest we now have a short recess.
