To exercise the powers and functions of the Council relating to parks; playgrounds; bathing beaches; multi-storey car parks; swimming pools (under the Swimming Pools By-laws, 1961 and the Victoria Park Swimming Pool By-laws); advertisements; and urban amenities generally, including the putting forward of recommendations for additional street lighting on amenity grounds.
To advise the Council on matters affecting air conditioning in relation to public health.
