Rice Plan

London, Dec. 21.-A long- term plan for rice production for export in East and Cen- tral Africa was urged in a report published by the Colonial Office today.

The report stated that the exportable rice from Burma, Slam and French Indo-China had dwindled from the prewar Ayure of five to six million tons to just

The report was the result of a five months survey by the East African Rico Mission. It called particular attention to the vast areas of swamp land in turged Northern Rhodrala, and
