Ganton, (Yorkshire), Sept. 16.-Britain gained a lead of throo matches to ono against the United States in the Ryder Cup golf foursomes today, a feat they had never previously achieved in the international series, which was instituted in 1927. Their previous best in the foursomes was a 2-1 load in 1931.
