A Very Unusual Vacation
By TEMPLE MANNING WELL, people do get about!
A month or two ago we met some friends who were planning a vacation. The other day we ran into them again, and on asking whether they had de- cided where to go, learned that they had been and were back home again. And it wasn't a little trip either!
They had done some visiting in Morocco, had spent a week or so in Egypt. before going on to Paris
and from there, home. What did they enjoy most on their trip?.. They all agreed that the desert and the giant sand dunes had impressed und pleased them most of all, with emphasis on overnight desert trips.

New York, May 8.-Consumer price resistance, cmphosised by scattered requests to defor ship- ments against old orders, and Isolated reports of mill curtailment in heavy goods were echoed this week In the reduced volume of trade in the Worth Street cotton goods market.
