How Scotland Yard Hunts Down The Criminals.
FASCINATING NEW BBC TRANSCRIPTION
A thrilling and fascinating new BBC series comes on the air-through ZBW next Wednesday. Entitled "Scotland Yard At Work." this programme describes how Scotland Yard hunts down criminals. Senior Yard officials have co-operated in presenting an authentic picture of the police machine at work.
The first of the series, "Murder," gives a detailed story of how the police tracked down the murderer, in a case that is regarded as a world classic in detection. Detective, Superintendent Rawlings, who was in charge of the case, and Dr Keith Simpson, Home Office Pathologist. describe their pant in the investigation in their OWN words during the broadenst. Football enthusiasts are reminded) that at 11 o'clock tonight, after the ordinary evening programme has finished, ZBW w relay a running commentary on the FA Cup Final from Wembley Stadium. This will be a rebroadcast of the BBC des- cription and is expected to about an hour.
