On March 10, 1941, a section of additional police was ambushed by a strong party of hostile natives. When the enemy opened fire, Azran Gul
ran forward and took up a position only ten paces from the
enemy.
Although wounded, he opened fire on the enemy, thus enabling his comrades to take up positions and compelling the enemy to retiro,
Azran Gul died after receiving three more bullet wounds..
