British Interests In U. S. Envoy's Hands

SPECIAL TO the "telegnAPH" SOFIA, Mar. 10 (UF)-The British Minister, Mr William Rendel, is scheduled to leave to- night at 10.40 in a special train, with 50 members of the British colony.

The American Minister, Mr George Earle, will officially take over the British interests at 5.30 p.m. A small placque signed by Mr Earle has been placed on the British property stating that it was under United States protec- tion.

Other Ministers Leave ISTANBUL, Mar. 10 (UP)-The Polish, Belgium, Dutch and Norwe- gian Ministers from Sofa with their Consula and staff will arrive at 5 p.m. Mr Wlilium Rendel, the British Minister is expected to arrive to- morrow evening by special train.

New York Bus Strike

NEW YORK, Mar. 10 (Reuter).- Nearly a millon workers living in the New York boroughs of Manhat- ton and Queen's had to find other means of getting to work this morn- ing when 3,500 employees of the omnibus companies in those boroughs struck.

They are asking for 25 per cent. Increase in wages and better working conditions.

The buses of the companies affect-i ed in recent years have replaced most tram services.
