a sodden ground and a HIGH WIND were not conducive to good football, but South China and Kwong Wah made the most of it when they mot yesterday at Carolino Hill, the Hongkong team winning by five goals to one. South China are now one step nearer to the Champion- ship, with one more game to go, and one point ahead of their nearest rivals, Eastern.
South China were on the whole the better team, com- bining excellently in both defence and attack. They were superior in both departments, and it must be said that the losers played as well as was to be expected, but found that South China were just that shade, faster than them.
