War-Wounded Man Had 32 Operations

A man found dead in a stream was sold to have been wounded in the last war, to have had thirty-two operations, and to have been always in pain.

He was George Kerr, aged forty- eight, taxi-cab proprietor of Cam- bridge-road. Hastings. His car had been left-at-Middle Bridge on the Pevensey-Hoxhill road near the

stream.

There was blood on the front pas senger seat, and on the floor was a razor blade, penknife, screwdriver and a partly alled bottle of rum.

Kerr had a cat on his wrist, but death was due to drowning, it was stated at the inquest at Pevensey, Suicide while the balance of his mind was disturbed was the verdict.
