V-Neck Front

Work as for the back until the arm- -noles are reached. After the first two rows of decreasings, work ob the Bret 62 sts, only for the left side of the front.

Continue with the armhole 'deerens ings as for the back, and at the saITIC

When the armhole decreasings are finished work straight and continue with the neck decreasing until there are 27 sta. and the armhols measures the saine as the back.

Below are instructions for a quickly knitted pair of "mitts," which are designed in a very easy, but distinctive pattern. You enjoy knitting them.

Materials required: 2oz. 4-ply finger- ing: 1 pr. No. 13 knitting pina Teaslon: Bats to 1 inch.

With Ne. 13 pins: cast on CO sts. Rib. Bin. k. 2, p. 2. Continue in the following pattern

1st row: k 2nd row: p.; 3rd row: - k.; 4th raw p. 3.. k. 2. repeat front ending, p. 2; 6th row: ns 4th: Off rout as 4th Repeat thene Grows for 5 inches.
