Sampan Capsizes

Five Europeans were thrown into the harbour yesterday when a shm-- pan capsized about 50 feet from Queen's Pler about 245 p.m. They were Mr. D. Taylor, of the R. A. F. Kai Tak, and four friends, three of whom were women.

The party were travelling out to a yacht at the time of the incident, which was caused when the party suddenly moved to one side. They all swam ashore.

Kwok Sal, sampan, mistress, her husband and two chlidren, were rescued by nearby sampons, but her mother, Wong Shi, 19, was sent to the Queen Mary hospital suffering from the effects of immersion,
