An Admiralty communique an-Hongkong, 16th April, 1940,
nounces that British submarines have had further success in their operations against enemy, tran- sports and supply ships.
In an attack on a cúnvay of len enemy ships, six torpedoes found their mark. Three hits were made 011 another convoy and two on a third convoys.
One ship calling Independently was torpedoed and sunk.
Another was driven ashore and was destroyed by gunfire and torpeilo.
