England Defeated 2-0: Schoolboy Prominent In Forward. Line

EXCEPT FOR INTERMITTENT thrills, the Scotland-England International football match played at the Hongkong Club ground yesterday was a tame affair, and ended in an easy win for Scotland by two goals to nil. The game bordered on desultory, its redeeming features being the splendid goal-keeping of Duncan, the Scottish custodian, and an excellent display by Ferrier, Hossack and Pryde of short passing, which seemed to have had the England defence at sixes and

sovens.

Bright played one of his worst games this season and after the first few exchanges the English side fell com- pletely away to allow the Scots to do almost as they pleased.
