Navy Defence
Goal:
Lapses In Second Half
A GAME marked with thrills and with nover a dull moment throughout was the Navy versus Eastern match played at the Hongkong Club ground yesterday with the Eastern coming out victors by six goals to two.
The score is no indication of the run of play which was very fast with the ball swinging from one end to the other with great rapidity.
The hero of the hour was Robinson, at goal, who saved time and again from point blank shots and several times going full length to turn almost certain goals into
corners.

The inclusion of Kong Siu-klug, a former Three Cultures (Shanghai) and Macao Interpurter, strengthened the Eastern defence, and he gave a very good account of himself at right tack. Trang Chung-wan played his usual good game and gave great sup- port to Kong. The half back line avemed unable to hold the fast Navy forwards, Phillips running them R.A.F.
