Official Matches To Commence in January

At the annual general meeting of the Hong- kong Cricket League, hold in the Urban Council Chambor yesterday, it was decided that

(1) The League should continue despite the war and that League matches should commenco in January as was the case last season;

(2) Thoro will be no home and away matchos for the 1939-40 season;

(3) The eight-ball over will be utilised; (4) Friendly matches in the Second Division should be played until the end of the year, and in the First Division until the second week of January..
