AS LAST YEAR
Official Matches To Commence in January
At the annual general meeting of the Hong- kong Cricket League, hold in the Urban Council Chamber yesterday, it was decided that
(1) The League should continuo dospi^o the war and that Leaguo matchos should commence in January as was the case last season;
(2) There will be no home and away matchos for the 1939-40 season;
(3) The eight-ball over will be utilised;
(4) Friendly matches in the Second Division should bo playod until the end of the year, and in the First Division until the second week of January.
