England Will Have To Find Another Rugger Captain Next Season

IT

is said that England will have to find a now Rugby Captain next season, as H. B. Toft has definitely decided to retire from the game, in which he has been an outstanding figure for some years. Coming into the team against Scotland in 1936, in succession to E. G. Nicholson, Toft has hooked in ten consecutive matches for England, and in the last two years has been without a rival in the position. As Captain in his last, four inter- CHILDREN national gamos, he has also been a big success out at the age of 29 he feels he has had enough. His appearance for the Barbarians against Swansea during Easter was his last in first-class Rugby.
