ARISING out of an accident in Stanley Road on October 12 last, when a motor car and lorry collided, an action claiming $65.50 damages was brought by the Woo Chung, trading as Fei Hang Motor-car Company, against Tsoi Po-tin before Mr. the Justice R. E. Lindsell in Summary Court this morning.
Mr. D. E. Evans, for plaintiff, mald that the accident occurred as his client's car, which was driven at that time by Luk Wah, was about to turn into the road leading to the Mary- knoli Misalon at Stanley. The car a lorry, overtaken had previously about 45 yards from the junction of Icland Road and Stanley Road.
As he was about 25 yards from the Mission, the driver of the car applied the foot-brake to slow down and put out his arm to Indicate he was turn- Ing. Before ho had completed the turn, however, he was run into from behind on the near part of the lorry, In order to prevent his car from the turning over as the result of Impact, the driver turned, back to the left into Stanley Road but was struck again. The damage to the car was slight, the repairs affected costing only $55.50, which was the subject of the claim.
