The King Commands Ballet
Gala at Covent Garden
M.LEBRUN WILL BE GUEST OF HONOUR
FOR the first time since pre-war days a Royal Com- mand ballet performance is to be given at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; on March 22.
It will be held in honour of the French President and Madame Lebrun, who are in London on a State visit. And thus, for a night, the statellest of all theatres will once again be the scene of pageantry and royal pomp.
King and Every man present will wear uni-, trai one being for the form or Court dress. Women wil Queen and M, and Mme. Lebrun. On be expected to wear tiaras and other either side will be members of the jewelled adornments.
