Hundreds of people rushed the ring at Harringay last night, and at least 50 succeeded in fighting their way over Press tables and through the ropes when Eric Boon, 18- year-old blacksmith of Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, won the British lightweight championship by knocking out Dave Crowley, of Clerkenwell, in the 13th round.
