To-day Riveti admitted that he was drunk at the time and did not know what he was doing.
Convicted on all three charges by Mr. Barnett, Rivelt was ordered to pay fines of $10 on the first charge and $30 on each of the others, while an order for $50 was made for pay- meut to the owner of the car who, because $50 was the maximum
amount in damages which could be erdered by the Magistrate, waived the other $86 worth of damage to the car for which a Supreme Court action would have to be taken.
Rivett was remanded to Military custody for 72 hours to see if he could pay.
