The bad weather on Saturday last was just enough to put a stop to the cricket and not enough to do the reservoirs any good. It was a great pity that the game had to be called off and of course, this sort of thing, which is always likely to happen about now, is one of the great arguments against our sending up a team to Shanghai in the early Autumn. It is to be hoped, however, that we shall have decent weather next Saturday when I believe, n game will be played on the I.R.C. ground.
