Assets have been written down in accordance with the usual scale of depreciation, and, since current profils are unfortunately not suff- elent to meet this charge, the Re- serve Account, which represents accumulation of pust profits, must be reduced accordingly.

The only blemish in an otherwise healthy Balance Sheet is the Bank overdraft, to which I have already referred. To-day, I am glad to say, the overdraft stands at the reduced figure of $4,133,93, but it should be still smaller if all members would make a point of paying thele sub- scriptions for the current year on demand. To date, only $2,310 has been collected by the Treasurers in respect of subscriptions, and I would i appeal to all members who have not yet paid to send their subscrip- tion without further delay to the Treasurers,
