The main feature of the Balance Shoot is the almost entire absence of capital expenditure. Assets have been written down in accordance with the usual scale of depreciation, and, since current profils are unfortunately not suff- elent to meet this charge, the Re- serve Account, which represents accumulation of pust profits, must be reduced accordingly.
The only blemish in an otherwise healthy Balance Sheet is the Bank overdraft, to which I have already referred. To-day, I am glad to say, the overdraft stands at the reduced figure of $4,133,93, but it should be still smaller if all members would make a point of paying thele sub- scriptions for the current year on demand. To date, only $2,310 has been collected by the Treasurers in respect of subscriptions, and I would i appeal to all members who have not yet paid to send their subscrip- tion without further delay to the Treasurers,
