"Run Out” Or "Stumped?"

London, July 1. During the Surrey v. Oxford U. match ni the Oval yesterday Gregory bowled a ball which struck J. N. Grover, the Dark Blues' cap- tain, on the leg, Brooks, behind fle wicket, gathered the ball and broke the wicket with Grover out of his ground.

The question arose: Was the bats- Rule 23 man stumped or run out?
