According to an authoritative report, a mixed train which left Canton for Hongkong at 2 o'clock this morning was bombed at Shek Lung, and the engine and some of the trucks destroyed as the result of a direct hit. The track is also reported to be badly damaged, but no lives were lost as far as can be ascertained.
