The plane which had been making reconnoilring fights during the past few days in the locality, made its appearance at about 5.20 p.m. to-day over Cheng Tai, a small marketing town across the river from Shekki. It dropped a bomb upon a brick fac tory causing only a few casualties as the dinner hour had taken the werkruen away from the plant. The plane then flew lower and attempted to machine-gun the scurrying coolies, one of whom was killed.
