Miami Beach, Mar. 20, Mr. Jack Doyle, after scanning reports the latest training camp issued by the "Semi-Final", offered odds of one to two on the New York Yankees winning the American League baseball pennant during the 1938 season.

That the Yankers will win accord- ing to Mr. Doyle, is nearest to being a sure thing-in-nny club history. He minimizes the loss of Tony Lazzery to the outfit, saying that the Yankees' reserves até capable of supplying a replacement.

The Detroit Tiger. Clevelund In- dlans and the Chicago White Sox are all five-to-one contenders for the runners-up position.

In the National League, the New York Giants and the Chicago Cubs are three-to-two favourites for the pennant. The St. Louis Cardinnis and the Pitisburgh Pirates are 4-1 agalnst.
