ANNUAL RACE MBETING, 1038. 19th, Bist, 22nd, 23rd and 20th February, 1938.

On Saturday 10111, Monday 21st Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd February, the first bell will be rung at 11 am, and the first race will be run at 11.30 am. On Saturday, 26th February, the first bell will be rung al 1.30 p.m. and the first race will be rus ai 2,09 p.m.

The tin interval will be after the fifth race on the first four days of the Meeting.

Braving the rain aalde from R.M.S. Empress of Asin met the "Canada" in the last football gamo for the Thornycroft Cup yesterday on the Kowloon Football Club ground. After allowing the Asia to gain a two soal lead in the first half the Canada came back strongly in the second half and shared points with their opponents. McGinlay scored for the Canada and MacDui (penalty) and Sinclair for the Asia.

The Japan which defeated the Asia by a score of three goals to two, has won the trophy, which is now being kept in the oflees of the Canadian Pacific SS. Co., and will be presented to the Empress of Japen team when the vessel arrives in port on March 25,
