In the Empire Games at Henson Park to-day Porter (Austraila) won the cycling finala over 1,000 metres in 1 hour 15 minutes 2 seconds. John- son (Austrullu) was second in 1.15.7. Mills (Erigland) third in 1.15.0, and Maxfleld (England) fourth in 1.10.3. The Arst three broke the Games record.

The 10 miles scratch race resulted in a win for Maxfield (England) in 24 minutes 44 seconds, Hicks (Eng- land) was second and Bose (South Africa) third,-Neuter.
