in a dry cupboard on a shelf by itself. Tumblers and wine glasses should be turned upside down and not allowed to touch each other.
Glass should never be washed in very hot water. If a pinch of borax or a little vinegar is added to the rinsing water the glass will shine beautifully.
Glasses which have been used for milk should be rinsed in cold water Brown before they are washed. marks can be removed from water bottles and decanters by filling them with cold water and tea leaves or cold water and broken egg shells. Shake well and leave in a safe place for some hours then wash in warm soapy water.
If the marks are of long standing try a solution of vinegar and cold waler. If this fails probably vinc- gar and salt or fine sand and warm water will do the trick.
