M. Pagh and J. F. Leys had a hard-hitting two stis on the Stand Court, the former running out win- ner by 0-3, 6-3, Leys made full of his powerful service, but he was not steady enough and with Pagh making a mark of his back, hand, which was very weak, he was fore- ed into many errors.
The tennis was of a refreshing type, being more enterprising than many of the games seen in the open tour- ney to date, but there were few sus- tained rallies and the match was over in 40 minutes.
As a result of this win Pagh en- lers the semi-finals, where he will meet H. Owen-Ilughes, who, on on- other court, beat A. K. Mackenzie 0-2, 0-1.
