Although he doesn't like being referred to as a "collector," Edward G. Robinson has one of the finest collections of modern art on the Pacific Coast. The actor, now star- ring in "Bullets or Bullats", the First National production which is show- ing at the King's Theatre, gathera valuable paintings "for the fun it" rather than as Investments. "Bullets or Bailois", Robinson plays the part of detective who breaks up one of the greatest racket rings in New York, headed by leading citizens. Others in the cast include Joan Blondell, Barton MacLane, Humphrey Bogari, Frank Mellugh and Joseph King, William Keighley directed the picture from the screen play by Seton I. Miller, based on the

WOMEN'S GUILD

KOWLOON UNION- CHURCH MEETING

At the annual general meeting of the Women's Guild of the Kowloon Union Church, yesterday morning, a lengthy discussion was held by the members as to whether or not they should combine with the other Church Interests to enlarge their annual sale of work Into a Garden fete to be held in the K.C.C. grounds.

The date of the sale was chosen for November 6 and it was decided to make further enquiries from the Church Committee regarding the probability of holding a Garden Fete.

In opening the meeting, Mrs, Frank Short, Secretary, read the minutes of the last meeting. These were confirmed by the members present.

For werk done in the past year, Mrs. J. D. MacLean, President, thanked Mrs. Short, Secretary; Mrs. Scott, Treasurer: Mrs. T. Fergusson, Convener of the Entertainment Com- mittee; Mrs. Martin, Church flowers; and Mrs. B. Wylle, Vice-President.
