Appearing on remand before Mr. W. Scholleid, at the Central Magis Leney this morning, on four charges of laurinry at shops in Lyndhurst Terrace during last month, Leung Iu, 17, unemployed, was sentenced to a total of four months' hard labour, and ordered pay one of the com- plainants $5 amends, in default, Seven days' hard labour.

Defentant was charged yesterday with a man named Tang tu, who was given a sentence of eight months' bard labour on six charges. They were arrested after they had made an up- successful ntigmpt to commit
