Addis Ababa, Sept. 30. Emperor Selassie will order gonoral mobilisation on Tuesday.
The Emperor has cabled the League of Nations that he is un- able to delay the move longer:

Addis Ababa, Sept, 30. The Emperor's word ordering general mobilisation is eagerly awaited over the whole country.
Reports reaching here tell of pre- parations hurriedly pushed forward. It is reported that 50 Eritrean levics have deserted and crossed into the Tigre district in the north of Ethiopla with 50 rifles and iammonition, and eight machine guns. They were immellately disarmed and may be incorporated into the Abyssinian army.
It is reported that 30,000 Eritrean troops and 70 tanks and numerous neroplanes are concen- trated round Mount Moussali at the junction of the Ethiopian, Eritrean and French Somaliland frontiers, It is believed that they are pre- paring to attack across the Aussa Plain.

Only about half a million men are affected by the order, as many tribal chiefs are already partially mobilized, and about 260,000 men are already under arms.
The mobilization is not likely to take long to complete. All men have been warned in advance to whom to report, and the chiefs have received instructions from the Emperor as regards the des- tination of their forces.
