very active and irregularly higher, in spite of considerable profit- taking. Trailing in Radio Corpora tion shares was very heavy, followed by New York Central Issuer. Mant utility issues renched new highà for 1935. Bonds were irregularly higher. Hlocks on the Curb Exchange were ) upward.

The Unitel States Steel Corporation's shipments during July totalled 547,794 tons, against 678,108 tons in June and 369,- 98 tons in July last year. The Boving Corporation lost $424,558 during the quarter ended June . Steel Mill activity during the past werk is estimated at 48.1 per cent. of capacity, as against 46,0 per cent, for the previous week.
