Defendant stated that when, he was stopped by the officer he (the officer), did not seem sure what speed witness had been doing. First the oficer said witness was travelling at 28 miles per hour, then he said it may have been 26. Defendant admitted that his speedometer might read 20 miles per hour when the car was travel- iling 22.
