The Hongkong doilar declined a farthing this morning to 28, 5k, re- flecting lower silver prices in Lon don and New York. The business rate was about 29, 5.6/16d. sellers and 2x. 5.7/16d. buyers, the market being easier than yesterday.

In London, silver dropped 3/16ths. China bought and sold, while India bought, speculators re- selling with small support. The i market was quiet.
