Colonies Want Matches Of Four Days In Future

Kingston, April 1.

The recent M.C.C. tour of the West Indies has been, on the whole, a financial success. In Trinidad the gate réceipta amounts [ed to about £3,000, giving a profit of about £1,000. Though rain affected the receipts on three days of the colony matches “and” the whole of the Test, the authorities aro only about £100 to £200 down In this island,

There was much, dissatisfaction. at only three days being allowed for the colony matches and it in considered essential thant these matches shall be extended from three to four daya in future.

The annual Royal Artillery Golf Meeting will be held at Fanling on Thursday, May 2. The following. competitions will be played:

R. A. Cup. Old Course-Bogey under handicap. For all serving R. A. Offeers who have got either a Fanling Handicap or who have had a handicap at any Golf Club within the last five years.
