London, Feb. 12, Last week 'came the London presentation at the Tivoli, follow- Ing the Paris premiero ten days ago, of the Tooplitz film, "Tho Dictator'. Anticipation had re high over this picture of Eigh- teenth Century Copenhagen. In the first place, it was known to have cost over £100,000 to make. "The Dictator" is the sad little story of an ambitious but public- spirited Hanburg doctor, by name of Struensee, who becomes en amoured of the young Queen of Denmark, Caroline Matilda. A voluntary rescue corps to deal with accidents in the caves and potholes of north-west Yorkshiro has been formed. The corps fa representative of all the

The corps was officially formed at a meeting at Settle on Satur day, under the chairmanship of Mr. E. E. Roberts, of Leeds, and the clubs represented were the Yorkshire

ire Ramblers Club, the Craven Pothole Club, Skipton, the Northern Cavern and Fell Club, whose members are chiolly recruit- ed from Lancashire, the Critstone: Club, the Leeds Cave Club, the Moor and Fell Club, York, and Giggleswick School, whose boys do a certain amount of potholing.
