Paris, Mar. 6. The French Chamber of Deputies to-day passed a vote of confidence in the Flandin policy by a vote of 333 to 154.

M. Flandin, the French Premier, emphatically declared that France does not intend to devalue the frane or to change the monetary policy, and that no such changes had ever bera contemplated.

The Premier said: "The recent movements of foreign currency attracted the attention of the Gov- ernment, and certain persons thought that we would renounce our policy of atability in defence of the franc.

"I declare that in no way dia wish for or consider this monetary movement, except to make quite clear that stability of currency is requisito for any economic recovery in the world." REMAINING ON GOLD
