To-night's Gala in the Hongkong Hotel Grill Room is by way of being a warmer for the real enter- tainment next week. On Monday, Christmas Eve, both the Hongkong and Peninsula Hotels will be the scene of revels until 3 a.m. In addi- tion, large crowds will be attracted to Repulse Bay Hotel, always noted for the excellence' of its yuletide festivale.

The Peninsula Hotel will be the rendezvous of pleasure seekers on Boxing Night, Wednesday next. the entertainers who are appearing at the Hongkong Hotel to-night being the principal attraction.

On New Year's Eve, dancing will be continued at all three, hotels until 3 am, the Repulse Bay Hotel function taking the form of a fancy dress galu dance.

Special dinner dances will be held at the Hongkong Hotel in between The Chrlatmas and New Year Holi- daya..

A glimpse of the alx Hollywood blondes at rehearsal at the Hong- kong Hotel yesterday shows that variety will be the keynote of their entertainment. The girls will pro- vide two ensemble numbers in addi- tion to specialities, the latter in- eluding singing and dancing. Each and every girl is a speciality artiste, the entertainment they provide is something gay and boisterous exactly what in wanted for

Despite talk of depression, heavy bookings are being experienced by the managements of the three leading hotels in town for their various
