AGAINST K. C. C.

(By R. Abbit)

That the game between the H.K.C.C. and the Civil 20 143 Service was the first Senior League game of the year came as a surprise to me as, at the time of writing my notes last week I had neither card. I may say that the result of the game-a draw÷also came as a surprise. I have heard a certain amount of criticism of the tactics of the CS.CC., with which I do not agree. If David must take on Goliath, a sling is a better weapon than a club.

It ds of course, unfortunate that | the various teams are of such dies; proportionate strength, but cricket talent must be decentralized as r as possible if we are going to get the greatest good of the great- est number.
