Declarer then cashes the ace, king, and queen of hearts and fol- lows with the ace of diamonds. If West ruffs with the queen of spades, the declarer will over-ru with the king in dummy, and the dummy is good. If West ruffs with the eight of spades, the de clarer will over-ruff in dummy a.m.with the nine and then pick up

the trump.
