(a) Corps 1st. Battory-Tuesday, June 14There will be a parade at Headquarters at 6.30 p.m. for Instruc tlon on C-in. B. L. Gun. All ranks are requested to attend-Friday, June 16The Corps Annual Dinner will be held at Headquarters at 8 p.m. All ranks are expected to at- tend Bress: Uniform (slacks) Trumpeters will parado at Hend quarters at 5 pm, on Tuesday, June 12 and Friday, June 16, 1934.

(b) Corps Engineers-Patade at Miniature Rango at 5.30 pan. on Monday, June 11: All members at tonding Annual Rifle Mocting Dinner on June 15, must send in names to 0. G. Company by Wednesday June 13,

His Majesty the King has been pleased to ap- prove the following appointment in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (Military Division): To be an ordinary member of the Fifth Class or Member:-Company Sergeant-Major George Thomas Padgelt.

The Kennedy Road Range is allutted to the Armoured Car Company on Monday, June 18, and Monday, June 26. 1914.

Annual Rifle Meeting.

As advised in last week's Orders, the Annual Rifle Meeting and Smok ing Concert will take place on Friday, June 16, at 8. p.m., and tickets now available from Unit Commanders, and also the Officers' Mess, Sergeanta' Mess and the Canteen, at $3.00 per head, including all drinks.-Dress is Uniform (Khaki or Blue) for all ranks, Offcors will wear white sum- mer Mess Kit.

As the General Ofcer Commanding in presenting the prizes, it is hoped that all ranks will nake a special effort to be present. A very good programime for the Smoking Concert is being arranged.

MR. IX MING ARRIVES IN LONDON

London, June 8.

Mr. L Ming, whose daughter, Besale, will marry the son of Dr. Alfred Szo next month, arrived in London yesterday. He will remain in England for a month and a half, for he has plenty of business to attend to, apart from the marringe of his daughter.
