Administration lenders declared that President Roosevelt would refuse to accept the B in ita present form and would veto the Billas a result of the bonus amendmenta.
In the meantime, the Senate has defeated the proposal for the mak- Ing of a cash payment of $2,400,- 000,000 in return for the Bonus certificates.-United Press,
Reuter adds that the action of the Senate in approving the Bonus amendment to the Independent- Offers Bill is in int defence of the Administration's economy plana.
