Tho conspirators then placed Molloy on a diet of wood alcohol. polsoned oysters and sardines with powdered, tin in them. He at Burvived, and then one night of hard frost they made him drunk, stripped him of his clothes, drench- ed him with water and left him to dle of exposure in a deserted part of Bronx.

Molloy returned the next day without even having caught a cold. Finally this apparently, invulner- able derelict was killed by tube thrust into his mouth.
